Have yard sale items but don’t want to do it at your house? CAMDEN GRANGE is hosting our first FLEA MARKET on FRIDAY, MAY 20 from 10-1 and SATURDAY, MAY 21 from 9-12 and invite you to join us. Bring your own table or rent one from us for $10. Vendors will be charged 10% of their sales as a donation to the grange for projects and maintenance. Please call 509-292-2492 to reserve a space and get the details or leave a message at info@camdengrange.org. While this is not a sanctioned Camden Grange and Community Center event, it is local and so we are making our community aware.
It is being held in the Scotia Valley (about 20 minutes from the Camden Grange and Community Center). It looks like a lot of fun, and the presenters are very knowledgeable. Have fun! Here is a list of our ongoing events for the month of May. Come join us!

So mark your calendars and come see it for yourselves on May 14th, 10AM - 1PM. 07 April – HAM RADIO TECHNICIAN’S LICENSE CLASS SERIES.
The HAM radio club, hosted by Camden Grange and Community Center, will offer a four part class series on how to obtain your HAM radio technician's license, beginning 07 April. With further class sessions on 14 April, 28 April, and 05 May, this course uses the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) curriculum, and requires the student to purchase a copy of “The ARRL ham radio license manual”, 4th edition. These manuals are available from ARRL at their website (ARRL.com), or from Amazon, or other suppliers. Students should read chapters one and two of the manual, to prepare for the first class on 07 April; we will be covering two chapters in each of the following sessions. The classes start at 6:30 P.M., and the series (four classes) costs $20 for handouts and materials. Registration for this series of classes is required, so that we have sufficient handouts and/or materials on hand. You can register for this class the "CLASS REGISTRATION FORM" page from the menu above. Further details and information are available from club organizer Rick Knapp at FLKNAPP@gmail.com All classes will be held at Camden Grange and Community Center, 7 Camden Road, Elk, WA 99009. Stand aside, Pike's Market, The Farmers' Market at the Camden Grange is coming to town! Local farmers and artisans, offering hand-grown and handmade produce, meat, cheese, flowers, jewelry, soaps, and a variety of other goods & services are all possible at our "first-in-a-long-time" market.
Stay tuned for details! Join us for this "quick class" (not a lot of lead time).
Hot chocolate bombs are all the rage right now, and why not?! Decadent spheres of dark or milk chocolate (and maybe mini-marshmallows?), when covered in a cup with simmering milk, turn into an amazing, quick, and creamy taste treat! Learn how to make cocoa bombs, including a Keto version, from our own fun food aficionados, in a class designed to be both enjoyable and delicious. Due to the costs involved with the ingredients, this class costs $15 per person. Class runs from 7-9 P.M., and ***this class is limited to sixteen students***. Registration for our classes is required, so that we have sufficient handout materials and/or supplies. You can register for this class by e-mail at this address: events_classes@camdengrange.org or by going to the Class Registration Form page of this website. Signing up for our classes just got easier. Check out the registration form page from the menu above.
This form will let us know how many folks will be attending so the instructors can prepare handouts and other materials. |
