Just based on all the hammering noises emerging from Camden Grange and Community Center this last Saturday, the 17th of February, the beginning leather tooling class, taught by master craftsman Joe Flatter, was a resounding success.
Fourteen students, ranging in age from twelve years to “more than I can count” years learned how to wet stamp leather rounds, “spoon” patterns onto leather, how to bevel and edge coasters, and much more. To join the second fun and educational class on 16 March, from 1-3 P.M., you can register for the workshop at the Grange website: camdengrange.org
