This Saturday, the 21st of October, from 6 - 10 P.M. is our first potluck dinner and dance, in quite a few years - seems a great time for the community to come together for a fun evening.
Grange members will provide the main courses, while community members are asked to bring side dishes, salads, desserts, etc. Admission is free, and music will be provided by The Rocking Chair Romeos - everyone is asked to make a donation to the band. Free coffee and lemonade, and soft drinks are available for $1 each. Dinner is from 6 - 7 P.M., and dancing and socializing from 7 - 10 P.M. Members of the Camden Grange and Community Center Fiber Arts Community held their monthly meeting in September, with a dozen fiber friends in attendance. New members were welcomed, sheep fleece was traded, wool was treadled into yarn, and a great time was had by all. If you are a hand-spinner, knitter, weaver, crocheter, or raise fiber-producing livestock, please join us on 25 October, from 7-9 P.M. in Camden Grange, located at 7 Camden Road, Elk.  |
