ESTATE PLANNING - HELP IS ON THE WAY!

Read Now

Camden Grange and Community Center recently hosted an evening with local attorney Denise Stewart, from Newport’s ELTC Law Group.  Denise specializes in helping senior citizens, their families, and the general public with current, correct information on such mind-boggling (for many people) topics as estate planning, asset protection planning, long term care planning, and many other very important subjects.

Denise was able to explain the over-views of each item of interest, in ways that our audience members could understand, and she answered a LOT of detailed questions from the audience as well.

It was an evening well-spent, with many attendees agreeing and taking notes – Denise has been asked to return to our meeting hall in the near future, for another evening of answers and guidelines to “complicated” situations.  Should you have an emerging situation, you are invited to call Denise’s office at 509-447-3242 for a free initial consultation.

Just a reminder that Camden Grange and Community Center will have a booth display at the Fair – last year’s award-winning booth was both fun and animated!

The Fair theme this year is “Barnyard Boogie”, so you can expect some serious Country Life displays, and events:  horse and livestock shows, dog and cat shows, rooster crowing contest, rodeo, car show, live music, and a LOT of delicious food from the many vendors.

The Fair runs from 14 – 17 August, and is located at the Pend Oreille County Fair Grounds, 419152 State Route 20, Cusick, WA.

Camden Grange and Community Center (strategically located at 7 Camden Road, Elk, WA) hosts monthly evenings of wool spinning and conversation – this is a local group for people who spin yarn, weave, knit, crochet, felt, and dye.  We love to teach, share, and we’ll help you get started if this is your first experience with fiber arts – if you have been away from the craft, we welcome you back, and look forward to an evening or more of fun and practice.
Our group includes experienced people who can answer your questions, help you find equipment and supplies, and connect with other spinners.
Check our classes & events calendar for dates and times.  You can contact us at our grange e-mail:  [email protected]
